Overview
A clean, conversion-focused solar website for Active Energies, designed and built by B1 Interactive for the agency HyFyve, and now hosted and maintained by us.
The challenge
Active Energies is an Avon-based solar design and installation company that has been leading mountain-powered solar in Colorado since 2006, serving communities from New Castle and Aspen to Breckenridge and Grand Lake. Going solar is a big decision, so homeowners need clear answers about benefits, costs, and the process before they reach out.
B1 Interactive was hired by the agency HyFyve to design and build the website. It needed to explain solar in simple, trustworthy terms, show the company's service area, and guide visitors toward a free site assessment.
Our approach
We designed and built activeenergies.com with a bright blue and solar-yellow palette pulled from the Active Energies logo, clean modern typography, and real photography of local installs. The homepage leads with a bold "Colorado's Leading Partner for Solar Solutions" hero, then walks visitors through the three-step process, the benefits of going solar, a solar cost calculator, a custom service area map, testimonials, and the company's commitment to sustainability.
Dedicated pages like Why Go Solar and Our Process break each topic into easy-to-scan sections with icons and clear calls to action, alongside Products, Service, and Request Service pages. B1 Interactive now hosts and maintains the site, keeping it fast, secure, and current.
